Hey, sorry for not replying, I would've but I've been out :)

Umm, you should make left - 50% always, that's what I do, then make margin-left - Minus half of the width of the div. Make sense? :\ Also, make sure to set the width of the div and height.

i have a question. when you're using a big image for div, if you center it like you said i should...it creates a horizontal scroll (which i hate). do you know any other way? should i play around with "left" or "margin-left"

lol :) It's your personal opinion anyway :P so don't take back what you said :)
I'm not very fond of layouts with banners that aren't exactly exciting much, some I like though, but I haven't made any complicated ones lately because I have no inspiration :\

Thanks for the comment :) but the lightbulb is the thing that stands out, then you look more and notice that it's lit in a guys mouth... That's what stands out. :]
